Our Lives Have Changed.
There have been loads of articles written about this. We even wrote one.
For our business and our client’s businesses, we have made the short term adaptations to keep going for the time being, with an eye on the future when this disruption is a memory. For many businesses, maybe yours, there is still a need to shake off some of the initial shock and disbelief to imagine what the world looks like 30 – 60 – 90 – 365 days from now.
While there is a great deal of uncertainty, some elements are coming into more focus.
Most of the value we derive from the products and services we enjoy did not disappear. The demand for them didn’t go away. People are finding new ways to provide them and consume them.
- Working from home is far more normalized.
- We have a greater appreciation for the workers around us in the service economy who often go unconsidered amongst our daily hustle and bustle.
- There will eventually be a vaccine or treatment regimen that helps make this a distant memory.
- Until then, things will be different. Face masks, social distancing, antibody tests, temperature checks when shopping or traveling.
Through all this, business must and will continue.
We help businesses adapt to changes like this.
